I actively contribute to the compassionate care of our vulnerable citizens, foster partnerships with neighboring cities, champion safety and cleanliness, and meticulously monitor the city's financial performance indicators.

 

My role on the Torrance/South Bay YMCA Board has deepened my understanding of our social service needs, especially during the challenging times when I had the privilege of serving hundreds of families who lost loved ones during the pandemic. These experiences have further enriched my appreciation for our remarkable community.  

 

​My commitment to Torrance runs deep. I’m not just your Councilmember; I’m also a devoted wife, parent, and grandparent who actively advocates for our youth. I invest my time in mentoring the leaders of tomorrow, nurturing the potential within each of them. 

 

Through my tenure as Councilmember, I have navigated local, state, and global challenges, earning a reputation as a voice of reason. My approach is rooted in responsible, research-based decision-making.
